Meet Katrina Lee
Katrina has worked with trauma victims for over 25 years in various roles throughout her career. She began her career working at McLean Hospital on an inpatient adolescent and latency aged unit where she first discovered that the neuropsychology behind each diagnosis would forever capture her interest in this field. From there, she began working as an outpatient clinician helping clients with substance use and
gambling disorders. However, the majority of her career was spent working with District Attorney’s
Offices as a forensic interview specialist primarily interviewing victims of sexual assault and witnesses to violence.
With the years at the District Attorney’s Office, and her interest in both law enforcement and mental health, she began working as a jail diversion clinician to assist the public during 911 calls for service
involving mental health or substance use concerns. She has worked in a regional program serving 6 police departments before coming to Taunton 2 years ago, where she is currently the co-response clinician for the Taunton Police Department, as well as the K-9 handler for Maggie, the City and Department’s Community Resource Dog.
