Meet Dr. Halle Singh

Dr. Halle Singh is an Assistant Professor of Childhood Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Bridgewater State University. Her research examines the intersections of gender, age, and capitalism, with a particular focus on girlhood and girls’ culture. A long-time supporter of girls’ and women’s empowerment, Dr. Singh’s work and community engagement advance feminist organizing and knowledge production on gendered labor, care work, and the right to leisure.
